Nick Ames is the Senior Vice President of Yield Management at McClatchy, maximizing revenue and reader value outcomes for McClatchy’s digital assets. He has over 23 years of experience in local media at McClatchy, The News & Observer (Raleigh, NC), The Advertiser-Tribune (Tiffin, OH), WTVG 13 ABC (Toledo, OH), and the Voinovich Center for Leadership and Public Affairs. His experience includes positions within editorial, ecommerce, ad technology, ad operations, business development, business intelligence and finance, allowing him a unique perspective across the organizational functions and needs of digital news organizations.
Nick is an active participant in the NewsPassID Steering Committee and believes the LMC’s greatest asset is the network of relationships across its membership.
Nick is a graduate of the University of Miami’s Herbert Business School and is an MBA candidate at The University of Iowa.
