Amy Schrempp

Amy Schrempp serves as Executive Director of Planning & Innovation at the Minnesota Star Tribune, where she leads strategic alignment, cross-functional collaboration, and innovation initiatives. She works closely with the Publisher and executive team to implement OKRs that connect long-term vision to day-to-day execution, a core driver of the Star Tribune’s ongoing transformation.



With more than 15 years of experience across media, government, and consulting, Amy uses innovation to advance strategy, deepen audience engagement, and build responsive, future-ready organizations. She designs and facilitates sprints, labs, and leadership workshops that help teams uncover creative solutions to complex challenges. Her work drives cost savings, subscriber growth, and new revenue, while strengthening adaptability and audience-centered thinking.
